Main character being a newly turned vampire (against their will) they try to get to grips with their new lifestyle and addiction. The new addiction drawing them into committing a string of serial killings. The UK vampire community try to hide their new initiates killings before a police officer can uncover their existence.

Ending with the main characters mental torture and want to kill and feed, driving them to suicide.

Vampire haunted by their victims.
Older vampires judge them as unhealthy for their community
